Miniature Labradoodle Full Groom
Meet the adorable Brucie.

He is such a happy, friendly boy, full of the joy of life. For me he’s such a pleasure to groom and always so happy to visit me for his pampering session. It definitely wouldn’t be about the big play afterwards with my dogs….. or the treats.
Brucie’s owner, who comes to me regularly has quite specific requests. She wants him short on the body for ease of care and, as with this breed, wants to keep the natural look of the head and face plus leave the breed specific doodleboots but not have them too long.
As with all my grooms he is brushed/combed first to make sure that any knots and matts are removed. I pay special attention to his legs and feet because on Brucie I use a snap-on guide comb and it will get tangled up in any knots. His nails are trimmed, ears cleaned and sanitary areas clipped. After the wash and dry we’re ready to clip and make this boy look handsome. His breed has a quite specific look like a Poodle, Schnauzer, Westie etc. Being a pet groom not a show groom and living in the tropics most pet parents tend to keep the basic breed specific look but tweak the groom to suit.

With these Poodle cross dogs they mostly end up with the curly coats. Which requires regular attention and grooming even if kept short as they will still knot up easily.
I, actually, think he knows he’s a boxing champ (well very, very cute anyway).
